Tim Klapdor from Charles Sturt University, located in Wagga Wagga, Australia serves as a Media Technologist in the Division of Learning and Teaching Services. As the largest single provider of distance education in Australia, CSU is strongly considering the use of the iPad in their educational courses. During a recent visit with students, staff and faculty at UC Irvine School of Medicine, Tim was able to learn invaluable insights about our iMedEd Program.

"CSU is investigating the potential for new technology to mobilize learning, out of the classroom and to take it to where the student is. This has potential to change the way we educate students and fundamentally change how we as Universities provision learning and teaching. My visit to UCI has been a great insight into the practical elements involved in such an innovative program as iMedEd. It has been great to speak and to see in practice how the students and staff interact and make it all work."
